YD5000
LD3500
LC3000
PerkinElmer
Optoelectronics designs and manufactures a variety of standard
and custom linescan and cooled CCD-cameras for BioTech, Industrial,
and Military applications. Standard products include analog,
digital, LVDS and CameraLink CCD cameras.
Complementing PerkinElmer Optoelectronics long history of linear
cameras are todays newest and most advanced models: the LC3000
analog, the LD3500 CameraLink and LVDS cameras, and the YD5000
color cameras. Available in a variety of pixel sizes, resolutions,
speeds, and outputs, PerkinElmer's full line of linear cameras
find their homes in leading edge applications such as currency
inspection, print inspection, postal sorting, small parts sorting,
motion picture digitization, glass inspection, and web inspection.
- YD5000 Color Line Scan Camera
The YD5000-Serie offers high performance based on a "tri-linear" sensor.
- LD3500
Digital Line Scan amera
LD3500-series: high performance, low-cost, digital line scan camera series.
- LC3000 Analog Line Scan Camera
The
LC3000-Serie is based on the PerkinElmer P-series photodiode
CCD image sensors with 14µm photo elements. Available resolutions
are 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels.

Digital
color-line scan familie |
In the YD5000-series tri-linear
color line scan camera, PerkinElmer has combined the best features of
photodiode array detection, high-speed charge-coupled scanning, and digital
color line scan camera technology to offer an uncompromising solution
to the increasing demands of advanced color imaging applications. The
YD5000-series is a high performance, tri-linear color camera series.
The YD5000-series feature a Camera Link output with resolutions of 1024,
2048, 4096, and 6144 pixels, which can achieve data rates of up to 30
MHz per color (90 MHz total). A patent-pending memory recombination feature
allows the user to adjust the camera to compensate for the trilinear
spacing on-the-fly, saving the user a significant amount of development
and integration cost.
In order to allow the user to compensate for variations
in illumination found in “real-world” application environments,
the cameras feature user-adjustable gain and offset levels. The YD5000-series
cameras feature a geometrically precise photodiode CCD image sensor with
10µm photo-elements. State of the art electronic design enables
the YD5000-series to deliver consistent, reliable performance while the
sturdy metal housing provides maximum protection in a variety of harsh
environment and factory floor conditions. The YD5000 cameras may be interfaced
to Camera Link compliant frame grabber cards, allowing for a tested,
plug and play solution. Typical high performance line scan applications
include printing inspection, document scanning, product and food inspection,
plastics sorting, paper recycling, motion picture film imaging, and many
other industrial and scientific applications requiring high-speed color
imaging. |
| Features: |
- Trilinear-color-sensor
- 30MHz-output per color-RGB-channel (total 90MHz data
stream)
- programable 'ColorReconstruction' for color stitching
between the color lines
- Sensor sizes 1024, 2048, 4096 and 6144 pixels
- CameraLink Interface
- Parameter adjustment through serial Interface (RS-232)

Digital
monochrome line scan camera family |
In the LD3500-series digital
linescan camera, PerkinElmer has combined the best features of photodiode
array detection, high-speed charge-coupled scanning, and digital line
scan camera technology to offer an uncompromising solution to the increasing
demands of advanced imaging applications. The LD3500-series are high
performance, low-cost, digital linescan cameras. The LD3500 features
a CameraLink™ or Parallel LVDS (RS-644) style video output with
resolutions of 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels, which can achieve data rates
of up to 20 or 40 MHz with exceptional noise immunity. The cameras are
designed for volume applications where small size and low cost are required.
In order to allow the user to compensate for variations in illumination
found in "real-world" application environments, the cameras
feature adjustable gain levels. The LD3500-series cameras feature a geometrically
precise photodiode CCD image sensor with 14µm photoelements. State
of the art electronic design enables the LD3500-series to deliver consistent,
reliable performance while the sturdy metal housing provides maximum
protection in a variety of harsh environment and factory floor conditions.
The LD3500-series linescan cameras transform
light imaged during a scene into a digital video signal. Antiblooming
structures within the sensor ensure superior performance over a wide
range of lighting conditions. User-defined control is possible for line
rate, integration time and video data rate. The LD3500 cameras may be
interfaced to most frame grabber cards, allowing for a tested, plug and
play solution. Typical high performance line scan applications include
lumber processing, non-contact measurement, document scanning, dimensional
gauging, biomedical imaging, bar code scanning and many other industrial
and scientific applications. |
| Features: |
- monochrome sensor with 14µm x 14µm pixel
- Sensor size in 512, 1024 and 2048 pixels
- Pixelclock 20Mhz or 40Mhz
- Antiblooming
- CameraLink- or RS644 (LVDS)-Interface

Analog
Line Scan Camera Series |
In the LC3000-series analog
linescan camera, PerkinElmer has combined the best features of photodiode
array detection, high-speed charge-coupled scanning, and analog linescan
camera technology to offer an uncompromising solution to the increasing
demands of advanced imaging applications.
The LC3000-series feature a differential driver
analog video output with resolutions of 512, 1024 or 2048 pixels, which
can achieve data rates of 10 or 20 MHz with exceptional noise immunity.
They are designed for volume applications where small size and low cost
are required. In order to allow the user to compensate for variations
in illumination found in “real-world” application environments,
the cameras feature adjustable gain and offset levels.
The LC3000-series cameras feature a geometrically
precise photodiode CCD image sensor with 14mm square photo-elements.
State of the art electronic design enables the LC3000-series to deliver
consistent, reliable performance while the sturdy metal housing provides
maximum protection in a variety of harsh environment and factory floor
conditions. The LC3000-series cameras convert light imaged during a scene
into an analog video signal. The amplitude of the video signal is a linear
function of the incident illumination taken from the scene. Antiblooming
structures within the sensor ensure superior performance over a wide
range of lighting conditions. User-defined control is possible for line
rate, integration time and video data rate. |
| Features: |
- Differential analog video output
- RS422-control line interface
- monochrome sensor with 14µm x 14µm pixel
size
- sensor length in 512, 1024 and 2048 pixels
- pixel clock: 10MHz or 20MHz
- antiblooming
- gain- and offset adjustment by DIP-Switch
