EasyObject is
used for blob analysis. It gathers informations
about distinct objects present in an image. The processing is
based on connected component labeling, to isolate and
identify the objects. Then, various geometric features
of the objects, such as the area or ellipse of inertia parameters,
are computed. The objects are sorted and selected with respect
to these features. Blob analysis is a convenient way to locate
objects even without any previous knowledge of their
shape, size and position, to measure these characteristics and
discriminate between them. |

EasyObject calculates
a list of objects found in the image and comutes several geometrical
parameters. |
- area (amount of pixels)
- width and height of bounding box
- Ferret diameter at:
0, 22, 45, 68, 90, 112, 135 and 158 degree
- Inertial eclipse parameters
- moment of inertia
- Centroid (optical weighted centre)
- minimum, maximum, mean and variance of the
grey values
- perimeter
- and much more .......
