151 Megapixel: SVS-Vistek's shr411

With the announcement of the shr411, SVS-Vistek presents a high-quality CMOS area scan camera, which provides users an outstanding resolution of 151 megapixels. The new member of the SHR series is equipped with Sony’s Pregius IMX411 sensor and a CoaXPress interface.

Highest resolution

The integrated IMX411 sensor from Sony with 14,192 x 10,656 pixels at a size of 3.76 x 3.76 µm per pixel guarantees an extremely high resolution of 151 megapixels and an exceptional picture quality. The image transfer is managed by a four-channel CoaXPress interface with data transfer rates of up to 6.25 GB/s per channel, enabling a frame rate of 6.5 images/s.

For demanding inspection tasks

For applications requiring high accuracy and detail in image capturing – such as the inspection of wafers, solar panels or displays – the shr411 is the ideal choice

The shr411 is utilizes a rolling shutter and is planned in monochrome and color models. With powerful features such as 512 MB internal SDRAM-memory, four integrated LED controllers for a direct lighting control, readout control, binning, look-up tables as well as automatic or manual white balance in the color model, the shr411 is perfectly suitable for use in many industrial applications.

Easy to integrate

The camera will go into production in spring 2019. It has a M72 x 0.75 lens adapter as well as very precise mechanical and optical camera housing – enabling a secure and accurate grip that is necessary when using high-quality lenses for repetitive measurements. The shr411’s housing measurements are 80 x 80 x 63 mm and it has a protection class of IP30. The camera is also designed so that the heat generated by the electronics and sensors is effectively and symmetrically discharged or controlled through the use of an external fan. With this combination of technical features, the merely 380-gram shr411 has a stable long-term behavior in image capturing and therefore allows the development of high-quality image-processing systems with which even the slightest deviations can be recognized.
