Euresys promises a substantial improvement in data transfer performance in its latest-generation Coaxlink frame grabbers. You can see for yourself at Control 2016, where SVS-Vistek will be demonstrating the advantages of the innovative CoaXPress frame grabbers live at its stand.

As of Version 4.5 of the Coaxlink driver, they also support AMD’s DirectGMA for the first time, thus permitting the direct transfer of image data to the GPO for processing. This means that the frame grabber data is transferred to the graphics card without exerting any strain on the CPU, reducing latency times and avoiding unnecessary copies of the image in the main memory. This directly results in improved performance.

With the new Coaxlink Quad G3 DF, Euresys now also enables parallel transfer of data from the camera to multiple host systems from a single CoaXPress data stream with simple cabling thanks to the PCIe 3.0 interface with a transfer rate beyond 3 GB/s.

A further highlight is the optimized Coaxlink Duo PCIe/104 frame grabber specially designed for use in rough conditions. With its “ruggedized” design, it operates in a wider temperature range and is particularly resistant to knocks or vibrations, thus making it the ideal choice for mobile platforms or military applications.
