SVS-Vistek GmbH celebrating its 30th anniversary
Ulf Weißer established Vis-Tek 30 years ago on July 13, 1987. SVS-VISTEK GmbH arose in 1998 as the culmination of a long-standing partnership with Walter Denk.
Originally a distributor of opto-electronic components and a systems integrator, SVS-Vistek started designing and producing industrial cameras for machine vision in 1999. Andreas Schaarschmidt joined the company as its third shareholder in 2009, supporting the increasingly international marketing activities.
SVS-Vistek owes its success to its dedication to providing customers with the best possible solution and this philosophy has remained a driving force behind the company to this very day. More than 50 employees develop, advise and implement customers’ requirements to assemble high-quality products. Underpinned by a high-performing range for the factory floor, SVS-Vistek GmbH is growing swiftly and is increasingly evolving into an acknowledged specialist in ultra-high-resolution CCD and CMOS industrial cameras.
SVS-Vistek is celebrating its 30th anniversary over two days with its employees. “I think it’s fair to say that we go a lot of things right,” says Walter Denk. “Demand is strong and, looking forward, we will be providing innovative answers to address the global competition. And we are always looking for further talented staff to accompany us on this course.”
