FXO camera

Since its market launch, the FXO camera series has impressed with its outstanding image quality and, thanks to the use of state-of-the-art interfaces, always guarantees fast transmission of the recorded image data. In addition to the existing models with 10GigE and CXP-12 interfaces, SVS-Vistek has now introduced new variants with 2 CoaXPress-12 Connections, which allow further acceleration of data transmission, enabling High-Performance solutions with up to 671 color or monochrome images/s for particularly demanding tasks. With a housing of only 50 x 50 mm, the new FXO is currently the world's most compact industrial camera with 2 CoaXPress-12 Connections.

Agony of choice

When using the new FXO models, users benefit not only from numerous other technical options, but also from increased flexibility: Depending on the task, these cameras can be operated with one or both CoaXPress-12 channels, so that a data rate of 12.5 or 25.0 Gbps is available for selection. This feature helps users to scale their existing and future solutions. The outstanding image quality of the third-generation Sony Pregius S sensors (IMX420, IMX421, IMX425) has been retained in the new FXO developments, as has the concept of an integrated strobe controller, which reduces the effort and cost of implementing applications.

Cool features

The temperature management of the FXO cameras remains outstanding, which in combination with the extremely efficiently implemented CoaXPress-12 interface protocol ensures lower heat generation of the cameras in use, e.g. compared to 10GigE models. This feature reduces the noise behavior of the sensor and thus improves the achievable image quality. In line with the FXO standard, the new models in the camera series also have many other industry-standard hardware and software features and can thus be used in many applications in a wide range of markets.
